Whether it be an ornate plaster range hood or a Georgian country estate, it all comes down to the details—and Jason’s eye for detail is magic. From a Ruhlmann referencing limed oak custom dressing room to a Villa Kerylos influenced solid bronze vanity Jason’s design bravado and experience is hard to miss.
Below is a selection of Jason’s built work from big to small, modern to traditional, over the past 14 years from lead project designer at Ferguson & Shamamian Architects to Founder & Creative Director at Atelier & Co.
case study: THE MAKING OF A HOTEL ROOM
A modern take on American Colonial combined with Seaport nostalgia hit the sweet spot of comfort and style in what was to be a fitting addition to New York City's Seaport District. Below is what might have been--showing how a pencil sketch turns into reality.
The Bad News: This historic Seaport property didn't make it past demolition before being sold to another investor.
The Good News: Jason's custom furniture made it onto a slow boat from China (the custom lighting wasn't so lucky).
-Let me know if you have a dilapidated chain hotel in your portfolio that you're desperate to turn into a boutique hotel!
