Jason dreamed of being a marine biologist--until he realized that he just liked painting fish. He was told artists don't make a living until they're dead--so he took to architecture. After painting and drawing his way through college, Jason spent the next 14 years creating ornate jewel box apartments, estates that rival Mir-a-Lago and top-to-bottom custom hotels.
In 2009, Jason co-founded Atelier & Co. with Richard Cameron, where he creatively directed the design produced in the office--expanding from interiors and buildings into branding, illustration and fine art. It's with this experience Jason launched The JG Co. this past January--a design and illustration company rooted in the rich intellectual history of architecture balanced with Jason's inherent curiosity toward oddity.
Jason's illustrations have appeared in Town and Country Magazine, Womens Wear Daily, Lucky Magazine, and Traditional Building Magazine to name a few. His Architectural work has appeared several times in Architectural Digest and numerous digital formats from today.com to variety.com.
His work has been published in Life at the Top: New York's Exceptional Apartment Buildings by Kirk Henckels and Anne Walker, New Traditional Architecture: Ferguson & Shamamian Architects by Richard Guy Wilson, and The Art of Classical Details by Phillip James Dodd.
Jason was born in Southern Ohio, raised in Naples, Florida and educated at the University of Miami (B.Arch.). He now lives and works in New York City.
